DO YOU EVEN LIFE?

Hello, world!

(Oh my god. I just spent the last four hours or so being nostalgic about my Middle School Experience, and, wow, SO MANY ROBOTICS MEMORIES.)

I am back from the Favorite Place

(I am doing That Thing that's in It's Kind of a Funny Story where he capitalizes nouns to make them into pronouns and yeah.)

I've realized that readers might not actually care about my personal life as much as I might think they do, but this blog is for ME, so screeeeeeww yooooooouuuu. It's more of a diary than anything else.

So, here are some pictures. I sort of stole borrowed the whole "3D" picture idea from this person and made a whole bunch of GIF's.

Lalala.

We did a lot of sitting upon one another.

brenna and chris are rly gettin it on

PEOPLE ARE BEING TELEPORTED BY OUTSTRETCHED ARMS
Everyone hates BRENNUH. (lalala TRACHEA lalala BREAK YA)

eeeeeew
(by the way, it's a running joke that we all "hate" brenna. i'm not being malicious or anything. i luv u, brennuh)
I had to censor some things, so I used pictures of Grimes.
my ten star cartwheel / underwear flashing skills
obvious
eeeeeew
This was possibly our biggest joke of the year. It still cracks me up. (I feel so sorry for all of you who are not a part of this--i.e. everyone in the world, besides maybe seven people.)

Lalala. The awesome staff!

This was our performance! We played a cover of "Unbelievers" by Vampire Weekend.

I used to be very skeptical about Vampire Weekend because their name (I will put this very bluntly) SUCKS SO BAD. But now, I'm sort of obsessed because I've realized that they are sort of amazing. I mean, they have AMAZING energy, AMAZING music videos, AMAZING lyrics and lots of other AMAZING things. They're super unique (I may be wrong, but I can't think of another band that's anything like Vampire Weekend.) Also, Ezra Koenig's twitter is beyond hilarious.
I've been listening to their latest album on Spotify quite a bit, and it's just so PLEASANT and WEIRD and INTERESTING. hierfdibosinkdfdsb hrjfn I don't listen to a lot of music that is anything besides the norm--guitar/bass/drums/vox (besides Grimes) and GAHHH. The weird synthy stuff and stuff is so weird and AWESOME.

I mean, this song with its cute little instrumental breaks and lyrics and everything is SO FUN. It's the perfect package of nonchalant chaos and fancy dirt and adolescence. Sorry if I'm not being too eloquent, but IT'S JUST TO EXCITING TO BE EXCITED ABOUT NEW MUSIC. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH.

Yai!

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS. WORD UP.

Hi! I exist! Here’s a selfie to prove it.

I went to camp a while ago, so, naturally, I will be posting the pictures now.

Rooby was there.

There was tie dye.

And tarot.

And henna.

And Capoeira.

And cardboard armory.

And I made frands. (Julia! Melanie! Blue! Olga! Etc!)

Ruby dyed Blue's hair blue.

I had poppy seeds in my teeth.

My face was there.

This is another one of my new friends, Popsicle.

I was a flying squirrel/naked mole rat!

I took a photography class, which was fun. The first thing our teacher said to us was, "First rule of photography: stop sucking at photography!" The title of this post is the class description.

Meh.

I ate lots of granola.

Yei!

MEOW

I have lots of things to write about! I'll make a list here so there's so way I can not write about them. Urrrrgggghh.
  • Camp (Granola! Crying! Chakras! Oh my!)
  • Nu Mewsic (SEE WHAT I DID THERE?!?! I'M REALLY PROUD OF MYSELF BECAUSE I SWITCHED THE U AND THE EW BECAUSE THEY BOTH MAKE THE SAME SOUND)
  • Fun facts from summer homework (You guys thought that I couldn't complain to you guys about homework anymore because it's the summer! YOU THOUGHT WRONG. Anyways, I learned some interesting stuff that I think is pretty cool.)
  • My Rookie piece that I am determined to write...one day... (I already know what it'll be about! Skeeewwll.)
  • The Interconnectedness of NYC kids (mutual friends--they're scary...this may not be worth writing about)
  • Eh
  • ^
This is sort of how my brain has been feeling lately.

Also, I am now known as
Don't Yell Eyes and Man
(Hehe. Get it? Like my name, but not.)
